IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING TRUSTZONE EV SSL CERTIFICATES

As a TRUSTZONE customer, we would like to notify you of an upcoming Root CA change, that may have an impact on your TRUSTZONE EV SSL certificate.

As of the October 31th, 2016, TRUSTZONE EV SSL certificates will be issued from a SHA-256 Root CA. The SHA-256 EV SSL Root CA Powered by GlobalSign will allow the entire CA chain to be signed from a SHA-256 hashing algorithm, in order to comply with industry and CABForum standards.

What you need to be aware of: Existing TRUSTZONE EV SSL certificates issued prior to October 31th, 2016, that do not require a reissue or renewal, will not be required to take any action.

New TRUSTZONE EV SSL Certificates (including certificates being re-issued or SAN updated) after October 31th 2016, will be issued from the SHA-256 Root CA. The SHA-256 Root CA is pre-installed in all major browsers, operating systems, and server software, and should not require any further actions. If needed, the Root CA can be downloaded from our support section
